Just took my new KTM 250sxf to the track today for its first ride. I followed a break in procedure of letting the bike idle for about 30 min then cool all the way down till I could touch the cases before starting the same prosecure once more. I then did two 50% laps on the tracks and came back in once again, to let the bike cool back down. Now my reason for this post is that I am experiencing extreme bogging and just a lack of throttle response. Nothing I have experienced on the newer FI bikes. I am an experienced intermediate class rider (if that helps?) and can kinda tell when something just might not be right. After the initial two laps I went out for another couple laps at about 75% and came back in.

Bike is still bogging on me and somewhat studdering when the throttle is quickly hit. Any idea if the break in procedure has caused this or if anyone else has experienced this?

Edit: idle time was the time it took me to gear up, not 30 min sorry for the confusion. And forget all that bullshit run in procedure you went with.

Start it up and let it idle for a 3 minutes so the computer can acclimatize to your local. And just go out and do an easy moto without revving the freckle off the thing or lugging it in too high of a gear. Let it cool and do another if your still worried but you'll be good to go. Every bike that is build hits the dyno at the factory to make sure it hits the right numbers so don't be scarred to rev it. I've seen bikes get ridden like they stole em from the get go and never have a problem.
